We are parents of Crofton students just like you, and we have picked up the torch that was laid down by the many heartbroken parents, some of whom have since become grandparents, who fought so hard for a high school in Crofton.
Why is now different?
This time around the numbers favor us! BCHS has stood before the Anne Arundel Board of Education and presented the imminent capacity problem.
MGT of America, a contracting firm hired by AACPS, validated the need of a Crofton High School in their Strategic Facilities Utilization Master Plan on August 31, 2015. Now it is no longer a matter of IF there will be a Crofton High School but a matter of WHEN a Crofton High School will be built.
Our work is not over. Stand with us at the Anne Arundel Board of Education and show them that communities of West County are united and stand in great numbers to to support the FY17 Capital Improvement Budget as proposed by Superintendent Arlotto! It is time to STAND AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!
